I'm a big fan of the Driftless Area fishery and Justin over at Winona Fly Factory sure knows how to fish it. His updated blog format is also very awesome. Check it.

A Big Win!
Can you say AWESOME?
I guess I'll just keep you all posted :)
In other news, my son is awesome. The only thing that could make this trip better is if he was old enough to join me. Someday all to soon, I suppose.

Rest Easy, Friday Night: Vol. 16: The Musical Education of Leaky Waders
So many things rush through my head, sitting next to this new little addition to our family. He surely is an amazing little man.
I started to think of music, and, if he likes music, what his journey will be. Then I thought, hmm, what are the big songs that influenced me through the years. I'm going to go WAY back on this one. Guest Post: David Dean's Diary: The Clothes I Wear
Something tells me my parents are imprinting their own experiences on their clothing choices for me.
For my mom, it is her childhood play toy, a Glow Bug.
For my dad, it seems to be his fly fishing addiction and the caddis larva.

Looks like we have a new contributor to the blog. David Dean has graciously offered up his literary talents and provided excerpts from his diary to give insight into the life of a newborn and growing baby.
Today's Entry:

My parents say they love me, but I can't shake this feeling that they are constantly watching me.
